yeah man good shot...
I know that kind of security guard.... one I almost get some kick in ass, but for my luck - I have good boots.

That's how it is.....simple and this is what makes this look so good. Nice line and the bricks give almost a motion blurr effect

That's a funny effect. It's either a normal door and an unusually tall guy approaching you or a small door and still a tall guy coming at you.
And the negative space of the wall is mesmerizing.

A very good example how a little addition can shake things up a little. But the guy isnβt what makes a god photo. Again you succeeded in creating a good composition with strong lines that draw the focus and some interesting details.

Awesome composition and lighting. That guy totally makes the shot, though.

wow, you used a great technique here...the right wall isn't shown at all, but you're still able to generate a narrow seeming atmosphere...great work

Yeah, that is strange. Guy doesn't look friendly but picture wouldn't be same without him. I saw some very small front doors while I was wondering around on few Greece's islands...

gosh! Claustrophobia indeed! Strong and unusual composition that really works for this type of feeling.

Damn! I love this photo! SO great!
Reminds me of those streets in the movie Billy Elliot in a northern England mining town. Nevertheless simply great!

hehe, cool shot.
the title fits so well...thanks to the weird door, the desaturation and the almost scary figure this has some angst-feel to it ^^

Excellent shot, i think the contrast of the black and white really makes it. Awsome Job!

Great timing with the shot dude... the guy coming into the shot really adds to the perspective.

I love the dirty look in this shot! Dunno if it's grain, but
whatever it is, it works. I like how everything behind that
guy is overexposed...where does he come from, what
does he want...? Β¦o)
I'm not quite sure about the cropping though. I would
like to see more of the lower left, underneath the door.
Anyway, this is very nice Β¦o)

Love the composition here! The narrow area of pure white on the right edge of the frame seems maybe like some portal that this random person is traveling thru. The textures on the brick and sidewalk are quite spiffy, and work extremely well with the tone used. That little door is just a real curiousity... perhaps there is a secret society of little hobbits living there? That would be cool.
And yay once again for Kalamazoo!! Woo!!
