Description My poisonous "Pachypodium Lamerii" cactus had been exposed to frost for maybe 2 hours on March 26th, how can I rescue it? After having it brought into my mom's new apartment, all the leaves became limp - my mum took them maybe 2 or 3 days later away and resected all the end parts of the sprouts (now they're dry and dark)

I've bought it 9 years ago and I don't wanna loose it! T_T

Ah, now I see!
I'll see which technique I'll use to rescue my cactus!

By the way,my cactus now has two tiny shoots on either side since yesterday and I already see very tiny leaves (~0,5mm)

No, the windows (maybe 6m²) are almost on the southern side of the apartment building, so the sun is shining into the living and bedroom from the late morning until the dawning, so maybe 10 hours - so the cactus HAS enough sunlight.

And do you think that I could cut the rotten and dried part of it away, before I put some plaster (or charcoal) powder onto the cutting surface two days later (tomorrow is father's day and I still don't have no powder against fungi)? Do you think it will be enough to put this powder after that long time onto my cactus to avoid fungal infestation? :S

well, I've already cut the dead parts away and now the cutting surfaces are dry. There are two spots with a new sprout. I think I will make a new picture and submit it here, too (as a sort of an update )

if you cut the rotten part out and dry it by paster powder it may be still alive
but it need more sunlight! its don't like darkness!

I'll desinfect my carpet cutter with ethyl alcohol and then try to dry the cut surface with charcoal powder (I don't know what paster powder is, could you tell me? )

Well, my cactus palm is in the living room which has its windows and balcony on the south-west side.
