Description
As I walked along the South Bank of the River Thames, I spotted a sad mime and sat down to share a cigarette with the silly, sullen character. He had to pay his rent the next day and people were stingy. We talked for a few minutes and shared a laugh. He got back up to perform and made a few quid and more than a few smiles. Somehow I take great pride in the irony of conversing with a mime.
