Description
So for one of my theatre classes I'm making a large foam dragon head. This is the mock-up as I work out the pattern for the head. He is mounted on a hard-hat and his mouth will be made to move when the person wearing him moves their mouth. Final version to be made of reticulated foam (the same stuff most Muppets are made of), with mirco-cell foam ridges (his 'mohawk') and themo-plastic horns (only one of which is made in this mock-up). He'll be finished with air-brush paint.

Photos of the final dragon will be up once I've finished him. So far he's turned into a lot of work! But I think he'll be really cool when he's done.
