I don't know if it's a challenge to use a simple HB number two pencil to make a pencil drawing, but if it's not I'm making it one XD lol

So this past week I was in Utah visiting my grandparents for ThanksGiving, only I didn't have access to my computer or Wifi. :C And I really felt like drawing and I was disappointed that I couldn't record a video from it. THAT IS!!! until the day before, I realized I boat a little tripod for my phone! So I decided to make a video with it! I'm sorry I didn't have access to my room with good lighting or my actual desk or level for the camera, So I'm super sorry for the odd angle, but I hope this is ok!

I also didn't have any nice paper, or any actual art pencils, or even a mechanical pencil so I really only could use what was available to me which was a number 2 pencil and standard printer paper, which is fine. :> Once I got home I scanned it in and put in some color to the piece as you can see. XD

I actually am super happy with how this piece came out, and a lot of people have been asking me if I do Traditional, or more so "CAN" I do traditional art. (as if digital and traditional are separated or different. :V) and haha the answer has always been yes XD Because digital and traditional art aren't separate, yes they call for different techniques but that's how it is for any medium, but the properties of art, and the skill to do it is all the same despite how you use the medium. lol the whole, if you can do one you can do the other, just gottah adjust to the medium like always.

Pencil and Ink are my favorite traditional mediums, especially ink, but as you can see in the video this is done with pencil. And it's cool to watch because you can see my hand, XD but it also shows that despite that I don't focus on line art, and I don't use lineart in my paintings or even in my cleaner sketches, I really do enjoy doing line art traditionally, and can be very precise with it. Painting is kind of the total opposite of the super clean strict means of line art such as with ink being as painting is free and open and loos, but even despite that ink and pencil are my favorite traditional mediums, but my favorite medium over all is Digital painting.

So I hope you enjoy my first traditional medium speedDraw! let me know if you guys want more traditional art? Digital speedpaintings will always be the main focus of this channel, but let me know if you guys would like more traditional once in a while.
