Woah, someone pissed off Nigh. Wasn't me. Concept for 's contest. Since male fu dogs are pictured with a ball under their paw (often representing the Buddhist "flower of life"), I thought it'd be kind of neat to make a sphere Nigh's weapon of choice. Not sure what the heck it does other than glow (sorry about the stylized pi symbol...just a bit of geek humor), but given the ties to the flower of life symbol, and accounting for Nigh's generally pleasant demeanor, perhaps it strikes attackers with an overwhelming consciousness that breaks through rationalizations and shows powerful truths, leaving them shaking in the realization of the ill they cause. Or it drains their sentience/soul. ...Oooor it disintegrates people. Whichever.Went for an animated feel in this, and pretty much directly ripped the colors off of this lovely little piece:

Only the colors on this version have been played with slightly, but here you can see a different version, that has the original colors, Nigh glowing a bit more strongly, and lacks the sphere:

OK... WOW. Not only does it look like it's from a professional animated movie, it's also damned cool in the tiny bit of story it seems to be telling.

My monitor settings are a little dark; I had to take thigns into Photoshop to see all the detali on his face and stuff. Very awesome take on Nigh, especially since he'd probably hide among the statues in order to ambush.

This is very awesome, the way you made the fu' in the bg glow and the movement of the paw, and drawing a Fu dog is a huge challenge.

Hahaha! It does look like she's crushing aq mini-fu, doesn't it? XD The female fu dog is typically placed at the right of an enterance (your left if you stand there looking at them), and is usually shown with a cub, often playing with it under a paw/crushing the life out of it's little body.

I can't take much credit for the colors! As mentioned, I pretty much just pulled the ones I liked from the animation background. XD
Dude, if you figure out how to color on the computer Nebby, you let me know. Because coloring on the computer sucks. And it makes me cry.

You teach me, because there is no way I could even do what you did. I mean even to get the lines in colour is beyond me. I have an old old copy of painter from 2001, that is all I know how to use lol.
