This particular image was mostly done by digital painting, but I also did a bit of 3d modeling/sculpting and photo manipulation

It's unfortunate we'll never see this in live action, at least with the current cinematic incarnations of Wolverine and the Hulk, since their licenses are owned by two different movie production companies, because this looks awesome.

I agree; in spite of how poorly the license of the Hulk has been maintained, I feel like Marvel has done a pretty good job of building up Mark Ruffalo as Banner/Hulk in the absence of a preexisting continuity to work from (although the Incredible Hulk with Ed Norton is considered part of the continuity officially, it's jarring to try to view that movie with the remainder of the MCU because of the change of actor) and Hugh Jackman has just become the Wolverine in a way I can't imagine any other actor in a generation will likely be able to embody, presuming Marvel even tries to bring back the character if they get a hold to the cinematic rights.
