Description
A japanese sparrow (Passer montanus) I painted for my aunt (as a present for her wedding).

I had a spanish one (Passer hispaniensis) as "model" (it was impossible to make him to remain steady xD and I didn't want to use a photo), and photos of japanese sparrows to transform the original.
The tree is a sakura tree from japan. I used my own bonsai as model for that outstanding vegetal character .

I used both watercolors and digital painting to finish this work.
