first proper picture including a human that I've actually finished so be kind

also this is a concept/illustration for a thing I'm working on

originally the scene didn't have the car headlights - just a halo of light around the guy - but I thank/blame ArizonaJackal for spamming me with pictures of cars on skype uwu

this is a human character of mine - nil grantt. has just one drawing other than this. it's pretty sad because I have to get really good at this stuff if I want to illustrate my book as I write it slkjdfklaf

This is a really powerful piece of art. I love the headlights. They highlight the rain and figure and paint such a heart breakingly sad picture-although I'm not a hundred percent sure what I'm sad. XD

Anyway, great job!

You're very welcome. I think you should definitely draw more human characters. I know you think you can't draw them as well as animal ones (I watched your gallery), but believe me, it's just a question of pratice. Use references and you'll see. You're gifted!

ah, yes, that's true! from time to time, I do sketches using references as simple practice. even though I'm not that good yet, it's fun. and thanks again!

This is absolutely gorgeous, Vjorg. ;o; I can't comprehend how much you've improved people-wise lately! The lighting looks absolutely gorgeous in all the ways, one again how you manage to mix detailed and "rushed"/blurry is also gorgeous, not to mention the dude hurrhurr -shot-
For some reason this leaves me with such feels. I don't even know who this character is,man, and he's giving me all the feels.

This is so gorgeous Vjorgen!! This seems like such an interesting character, and you drew it so beautifully--it's still mysterious, the only lighting from the car lights that face us, and still we can tell so much of what's going on simply by the title and what's illuminated of the character and his immediate surroundings. I hope to see more pictures of Nil in the future
