I prefer the robes because 1/ in the books, there are in robes; 2/ the trousers are more contemporary and hollywoodian concept; 3/ in my eyes, it's very sexy for men, and even more for wizards; 4/ with trousers, the scene of the Snape's worst memory, with the levicorpus, loses all his interest ...
And yes, you can opt for robes if you like ! But maybe Severus will add trousers under the dress, because he's prudish; and maybe James will wear some mugglish clothes because he's James....

Ah, about the robes. I thoroughly looked after them in school context and never found any. JKR just wrote about "robes", yet she could have meant the ones the students wear over their uniforms. And as she had to authorise the film details, maybe she meant it to be like that?
Of course, older wizards wore robes and nothing unterneath them
Ack! Noooo, the interest would be still here - in the film, James would simply have to remove his trousers first 
Reading the books, I really wondered... Lupin told Harry Snape's curse was really hot in Hogwarts for some time back then. So, if no one wore trousers - why was Snape the only one to feel humiliated? I simply can't imagine someone else had to show their undies to the entire school. So I "solved" that problem bringing Snape's poverty on - no uniform, because it's been in the laundry

Superbe... J'adore leurs regards méfiants, la composition de l'image avec les personnages graduellement en retrait, le teint très pâle de Rogue et ta version plutôt "sportive" de leur uniforme scolaire.

Oui j'ai résolu le problème des uniformes - hop, des robes et un par(dessus. lol
J'ai encore eu un bug de l'ordi hier qui m'a lestée de plusieurs versions de Drago - mais bon c'est pas grave juste je vais tuer cet ordi grrr, mais à part ça je vais sans doute lui faire un portrait à part, à celui-là.
