This work certainly had a lot of love involved with it! It's taken two weeks of off and on coloring and lineart-ing, and now, it is officially DONE.

Want to know what's so great about it? It will be my first [official] auction! I've done auctions in the past, sure, but they were for little stuff. This one took all of my hard work and love and anger and frustration and-

*Ahem*
I've really been getting into the mermaid mood as of late! I wanted to keep this mermaid as basic as possible, but tropical fish certainly had a play in it. Can you tell? I like to imagine that this mermaid is fixing up a ponytail or something because the pose was randomly done. XD I'm in love with her eyes - I, personally, think they are a wonderful addition to the character. Her eyes were originally going to be green, but well... it just didn't look right. XD

Description:
Based on the tropical fish you can find someplace out in the bahamas, this gorgeous mermaid takes on the beautiful colors of dark blues with a glowing golden hue. Blue eyes finish off her entire look with softer blues to contrast nicely with the other colors of her body. Her fins have a wonderful transparent texture to them, again, with a soft golden glow to accentuate their flow.
