Dealing with loss is always difficult. I'm glad mlp addressed the issue and also portrayed the importance of friends in the process of grief. As present as Dash's friends were and as helpful as they tried to be throughout the episode the most important thing they could do was to be there for her. At first I thought it was a strange, if interesting, choice to put a grown-up Scootaloo in there. It got me thinking that this was a really touching role-reversal, Scootaloo being there when RD needed her when it was usually the other way around.
Β Then I realized it was Fluttershy in dim lighting.
