I like the triangulation of the pose. It goes well witht he structural trunk support. I can't decide if I like the red tennies or not. They sorta match the red in the trunk, but they sorta don't. I don't know. Maybe postworked to match the denim blue? It would support your skintone, sure, but would it really lose the level of dynamic the triangulation has with them being red and connected to the trunk color in that manner?
Am I overthinking this? Probably.
