I always was real fond of Clyde's design, and took the liberty of adding in some newer things, like his freckles, though they're hardly noticeable under his hair, but that's alright.
I think I like the idea of his story, wherein he's just out of the time cult. But instead of the whole. mass death thing, he's gotten a case of time-distortion sickness and has been misremembering events that technically happened in another timeline. In his memory, everyone's he devoted his life to has passed away, and he left of his own volition, while the timeline he's actually present in had him defect, and while he's 'dialga's chosen', he doesn't actually realize it. so the cult repeatedly tries to get him to return, while he's convinced he's hallucinating their presence because he DEFINITELY watched them all die, so it's the only reasonable conclusion. On he goes to be a reclusive author we all know 'n love, lost in the world and lying to himself. and by we, i mean me. maybe one day i'll actually write his story and put it on a03 but probably not.
