Hmmm. To me the gears look like they need more....shadows? Texture? More texture than anything else, rust or wear or something.

I like theat the base os smoky but I can't tell if they're on solid ground or water - then I noticed the people running so I assume it's solid ground. There's a box higher up on the farthest right column that kinda looks invisible. I don't know if that's the intent but it makes the tower look a bit...disjointed. I like the sky used and the detail of the stars in the upper left Though I don't know if stars would realistically be visible with the sunset (sunrise?) light still permeating the sky.
Overall, I liked the different setting. I think the small detail of the humans in it was great, especially for scale and placement of the world. It almost looks like s story.
Speaking of, I'm writing a story called "Whisper of Winds" and I was wondering if I could use this to feature in my comments as inspiration for a scene? You'll be linked and credit and notified.
This also makes me think of Tron.
