Some backlogged Dodge content!! This takes place right as the Fellfang War begins.

I thought I'd do a sort of callback piece to his mother, Lotus, who had been a healer her whole life!

Dodge didn't know Lotus very much. Life never provided him that chance, growing up quickly and traveling in a huge band of wolves. Lotus couldn't always be around to play much of a motherly role once he and his littermates could leave the den, and Dodge found himself much too antsy to sit around anyways.

In fact, in his reckless youth and days spent exploring with his friends, he would miss out on taking up learning Lotus's own ways. But of course the bloodline pulls through, one way or another... And he feels naturally more or less compelled to become a healer (or Gula) himself.
