Description I haven't submitted on this account in ages so here comes something new. The white spikes don't belong to the branches. Those are frost sculptures. I have no idea how they could have grown like this. There were on every tree and bush around. Photo taken in the Swabian Mountains.

Nature's Christmas ornaments. I have been wanting to capture a photo of single snow flakes hanging from tiny spider webs at the tips of pine trees sparkling in the sun. I have seen them many times but did not have a camera. Frozen beauties melt away so fast.
