There's a saying that summer is the season for horror stories, this illustration is perfect in that sense!
I love the gory touches with the eyes falling, but the sweetness of the other boy sheltering his friend from the bloody rain.

I would ask why it is raining organs, but about 20 people have asked the same question and the artist has yet to answer. Looks nice though.

Smart-alec commentary aside, I really like the overall way this looks, from the shading to the way the colors just blend together. It all just looks so natural.
Maybe that's what's so enchanting about this picture; it's different from what you'd expect, yet it's still amazingly peaceful, in its own twisted way, but you'd never notice if you didn't see the entrails.

I looked at this, then did a double take, then did a triple take. Then really looked at it, and I'm still not sure why there are body-bits falling from the sky, but I do know that it's really freaking cool.
