I wish that I did...... They're so expensive and I don't want to go buy any.

Yup... I mean, for people who are really serious about art as a career (or, more specifically, traditional art), then it makes sense. Or if they're people on here who sell commissions and prints and such. But for the amateur artist like me who is just doing it for fun...way too much money!

I'm planning on going into art, but I still dont' like dishing out all the money for the supplies. Which is why it's a good thing my family gets me the art supplies I ask for around christmas time. XD

Yeah, but aren't you planning on doing more digital art than traditional anyways?
And that's what I do too. That's how I got my colored pencils and my acrylics!

Yeah...but I love traditional art. There's only so much 'feel' you can get with the media in digital art, y'know. And I lied. I bought a 3 dollar set of 16 oil pastels two days ago. XD
Getting them as gifts is the best.

Oh gosh......get nice oil pastels. I know it sounds bad telling people to buy expensive things, but if you're going to use oil pastels, you have to use the nice ones! They blend so smoothly and the color is great. The cheap ones are more like crayons. ><

I DON'T HAS MONEYS SO CHEAP WILL SUFFICE FOR NOW. And some people say it's not the quality of the utensils but how you use them. I hope it's true. XD

Oh haha, I don't actually have any. I used some when I was in my art class sophomore year. I'd like some, but I'll hold out getting some until I can afford a decent set. And I admit that the artist being good can make even crayon art look awesome, but an amateur like me ends up making scribbles while using ones that don't blend well. It's actually quite sad....not gonna post any of those pics, but it's sad. XD

I'm sure you could do something with low-quality. I BELIEVE IN YOU. And you've already said you didn't have any; you didn't have to reiterate. I remembered. I just wanna play with them a little thought because it's been years since i even touched them because i thought I didn't like them..XD

Haha, I don't believe in me... I haven't been doing art lately. And sorry, I didn't remember I'd already said I didn't have any. I forget things easily.

i saw the movie, the elder wand, the resurrection stone, and the cloak of invisibility, having all three i think would give you the ability of death himself

Wow, the idea presented is really intriguing if a little gruesome. And for your second time using oil pastels you got a lot of great detail in there. I especially love the liquidity I feel the congealed blood has. Wonderful.
