This image has some very strong elements from the pose and gaze of the model to the diagonal lines above her head. The placement of her in the center of the image leaves a little to be desired however as I feel it would be a stronger piece with her off centered. In my opinion to lower right with her body facing toward the frame with her face turned just a little out of frame.
The flat lighting really works allowing us to fully take in her expression and see the finer details of her wonderful form and wrappings. It also lends itself to the feeling of a overcast day which in turn helps convey the mood without making it dark.
The feeling of loss or heart break is really brought home with the combination of the note in her hand and the look on her face. One might consider the note an afterthought but it really brings the message home of what you are trying to convey here.
While this image is timeless, it has been done many times by many artists but this version is exceptional and deserves a modicum of praise at the very least for it's execution and beauty.

Is this at the Scary Dairy farm in Camarillo? That place is neeaat! Divinora is a very beautiful model for these scenes!
