Description
One of the earliest systems I had while growing up was the Sony PlayStation and next to Crash Bandicoot Spyro the Dragon was perhaps the most popular platformer on the system. Surprisingly enough both Crash and Spyro share the similarity of having very few pieces of artwork available and what can be found isn't in very high quality. I made this image by scanning some artwork inside the original case of Spyro 2 Ripto's Rage, cropped out the background water and replaced the missing water with an actual photo taken underwater which I then modified to look more like the water found in the game. This isn't my best work considering the original scanned artwork is much smaller than I would usually use but I didn't really have any better options and I really wanted to create a poster for Spyro. I also had to recreate the Insomniac logo using a screenshot from the game because for whatever reason trying to find Insomniac's old school logo isn't easy.

This image was made to fit the dimensions of regular tabloid paper (11'' X 17'') and was originally saved at 300 dpi.
