A sorceress employed by by the Bandit King Grieth, Sonya will join Celica's army if her partner Deen is defeated in battle. Cool, unyielding and strikingly beautiful, Sonya is burdened by a dark past and seething hatred for her father, the Dark Mage Jedah, for abandoning her as a child and sacrificing her sisters to Duma. She and Celica's friend Genny share a kinship, the latter having also been left at a priory since childhood. Interestingly, she prefers bitter food and hates sweets. After the war, Sonya ventures to parts unknown, looking for a way to cure Witches of their curse.
