A Transform Pokemon, Ditto is capable of transforming into literally any other Pokemon in existence. For some, the dead giveaway is its face, and most Ditto aren't able to maintain the form very long, or even remember exact details from memory. Because of its unique ability, Ditto gets along well with most Pokemon, with the exception of other Ditto, as it cannot change its appearance within each other's presence. In the wild, Ditto are generally never far from civilization and people, and they will often change into rocks to sleep without worry of a fight.

Ditto appears in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate from the Poke Ball, and transforms into an opposing Fighter. It was originally planned for Melee, but couldn't make it due to technical limitations.
