Description
This was a fun one to do.I decided to try for a more expansive, sweeping style of landscape. One that I had used during the King of Ink project last year.
All done in one night in a single four-hour sitting.

A beautiful fantasy-like landscape, I especially like the muted colours, it's like an old Japanese wood drawing of sorts. Also reminds me a bit of LOTR with the mountains and all. What I adore here the most is how you've done the trees, such detailed job with the leaves, that's wonderful. The peak looks a bit odd to me though, looks a bit manmade maybe in such a wild landscape or just the point of it as it comes a little roundish before the very last point (hope I'm making sense). Other than that I think this is wonderful.

i agree with erica though, the cloud does need to be softened a little. it looks like some evil spaceship coming to take over the forest D:

I like the trees in the lower right, and the whole thing. My only suggestion is to soften the cloud that comes to a point.

I feel kind of the same way as echoed. The trees/bushes in the lower right have a different feel then the rest of the picture. I also think that the place where the branch and the leaves meet on the tree on the left is a little to clear. I looks like you just went over it once with a ps brush.
Other than those minor gripes it looks really amazing. I really love the peak on the far right, it really captivates my attention! ^_^

I still don't know how you do this or what all it entails but it's pretty impressive. My only gripe is I think the trees in the lower right corner are a bit muddy.

I love the atmosphere and suggestion that you've put into this. You can look at the 'scape and come up with a story for it, and then look again and come up with something completely different...

Nice use of atmospheric perspective. It looks realistic, though I like how you kept in the few remnant brush strokes that give a piece that "CG" feel. Beautiful work!
