number 2 out of my ten (10!) illustrations—my friend fully and entirely, with my encouragement, repurposed clark kent as an aasimar paladin of apollo. i love watching him come into his own, but i love even more dropping little hints about who he was based off of, hence the red cape, the forehead curl, and the hand over what would the kryptonian symbol for hope : )
