Description
Built in 1892 in Thurber, Texas. It was moved to Mingus, Tx in the 1930's, then it was returned in 1993 by preservationists.Thurber is now considered a ghost town. After visiting there, I can definitely agree. To know that there was once thousands of people living here and now there is barely even 300 is very spooky and it shows what oil and coal mining can do to a town once it is no longer used or needed.
