This is young king Arthur and his close friend and right hand Merlin, always ready to be at his side. They are legendary and very interesting characters. Nice blue mountains and lavender(?) plants below. Like someone else, I was a bit surprised to find out that the dude on the right is Merlin. Seems like he's spent more time studying magic than going outside.

Ну я в Мерлина влюбилась, не оторвать! Просто потрясающее выражение лица у него получилось!
И в целом картинка просто супер-пупер-мупер классная!!! Столько цвета! Солнца! Пейзаж какой красивый!
Артур молодой еще но уже видно, что тот самый - который и глава рыцарей Круглого Стола и легендарный правитель Камелота. Романтичный, благородный... вах! Глаза какие голубые блестящие!
У обоих позы получились с таким движением, просто супер. Птички у Мерлина такие милые! Не, Мерлин это ваще моя любовь! Еще и костюм его... эх! А у Артура плащ красный здоровский!!! Схватила бы такую книжку с полки, не задумываясь!

Interesting interpretation of the old tale, kind of revisionist in tone because we usually picture Arthur and Merlin as having beards.
Is it weird that I think they kind of resemble Link from The Legend of Zelda and Michael Jackson, respectively?

I love the book I have a copy with painted illustrations inside, which is pretty cool, Merlin is one of my favs and I love how you made him here with the birds it looks really good
