Caving into his partner Kiba's urgings to explore a temple ruin he cross reference located, they explored the place, avoided some scary traps such as a total saturation poison dart trap, spikes, and the works, they found what would have been the 'General's Armory' where they found an assortment of rusted, useless crap... but a preserved... huge... shiny blade. Course it was rigged but they managed to escape the trap... with a very unique blade. Hanse loves it E:

Well, most of the pictures you'll find on the Internet are replicas since that's a long lost technique and nobody knows for sure how it was made, but here's how it looks like:

here's a closeup of a "modern" (fake) one:

=o wow... neat... I think I will let this sword be one then XD. Honestly the idea was "An ancient sword forged in unknown means by possibly human metalists using some kind of arcane method." In this story universe, Humans are kinda renowned to be insanely good with magic. It is their electricity you could say.
Anyways I like this even more XD. Haha thanks.

Someone just HAD to strike gold ya? XD. I don't have a japanese dictionary on me or any kind of understanding of a good deal of words. That name fits Hanse just right as his (adoptive) family name is Akayuki which my friend says is Red Snow. Thanks DJ

Well thats great! I didn't know you'd like it THAT much XD. You are very welcome! To be more accurate; Its Fuyu Naraku. Not one word. Annnd for my know-how with japanese, I've taken it for 2 years in high school, so I know a word or two XP. And yes, Akayuki is red snow....depending on the kanji....it could also be "dirt snow" or "This copper" XD

Well I know Hanse has a tendency to get dirty on the job, but he's most definitely silver, not copper X3.

Huum... that's not bad actually D=. Course the sword is rather heavy but Hanse is epic enough to use it like a small sword hehe. Thanks a lot!

Ummh a heavy sword.. with an eastern name. It's his ultimate sword, right?
What about "Grand Final"?
It's a french expression mostly used for final scenes of fireworks shows.
It's means "great final".
However in a fantasy context you can use it for an ultimate fighting technique or... an ultimate weapon.

There is an impressive amount of Epic in this shot that I'm not certain where to begin. I just enjoy how you characters tend to carry themselves, like they have a depth behind their poses and expressions and the effort you put in shines through every time. This drawing just seeps with cool. The high-res just highlights it.
This call all be summed up in one word:
Shiny.

I wish I could draw a bit faster? This took a while mostly because Hanse has so much on him. It takes years of practice though, but anyone can get good if they draw, look at what they did, and decide waht they can do better.

Yeah X3, so don't say you can't draw. You just need to actually -do- it. I know a friend who wants to draw but never does it.

I like to name stuff in Latin. Here's a couple ideas.
volatilis, validus, fortis?
If ya find one of those catchy enough, i could tell ya the meaning.

I dunno much about eastern names. You could just try googling "english to _____" translator, and pick the language of your choice and try out some meaningful words.
