Stop stealing animals' lives and fur. They need it more than we do. Go faux.And yes, all those animals are used to make fur. Even the dogs... they just dont label it as dog sometimes =/ (trust me, i did a lot of research)

I know that, it's just the fact that so many people hate real fur, but some people are allergic to it. (LIKE ME. Although any fur can send me sneezing.)
Also, there's a reason rabbits are known to be pests. I'm sure a few rabbits for a coat wouldn't make any difference.
Besides, some animal fur comes from the bodies of animals that are going to be eaten. I wouldn't call that a waste.

but more than 80% of the animals only get killed for their fur....in fur farms the body will be used as food for the other 'pelt animals',sometimes it even gets thrownaway...
predaters like the lynx who get in a trap, only get killed because of their fur and sometimes because of their bones.the rest will be leaved behind in the forest.
and a life killed for senseless things ,that is always a waste.

It may be a luxury, but in poverty stricken countries, it's in the only way to keep warm sometimes.
Sometimes, those parts of the body a useless though. Who eats lynx anyway?

my aunt gave me a rabbit fur vest when i was like 8 and i totally freaked out and refused to wear it. i had NO IDEA it actually might have been from DOGS(though i live in the USA so i don't think that's possible, is it?). i agree DON'T waer real fur! it's WRONG.

I completely agree with you. It is sickening how they treat these poor animals. As if they aren't even alive. Animals are no different than people really, and if you wouldn't do it to a person then you shouldn't do it to an animal.

hun, I also did alot of reaserch. I've done protests. but they don't use DOGSDOGS
they use raccoon dogs and homeless dogs, not a fluffy pretty collie.
and if you need an animal that should be up there, put a cow.
leather is the exact lame thing as fur, dear god people its the same god damn thing..

you can't make people see a beautiful collie and tell then they use that when they don't.
then they think thats whats being used
but they arn't, they are using 'ratty' mutts that people don't find beutiful. showing them a dog that is over exaderating is gunna make showing the more matty dog not as dramatic.
plus is a difference. raccoon dogs are ALOT different from the bred dogs we have today, plus the endangered factor

whats the difference between a fluffy collie and a homeless dog? just cuz theyre different breeds doesnt mean they're really different... its still an innocent life.
The thing is, most people dont feel sorry for the farm animals, because theyre so ignorant and eat meat, so they ignore leather. leather is a bi-product of meat, which most (stupid) people eat anyway, so i guess its not wasting. Of course, its still wrong, but to most it doesnt seem as bad. but with the fur, they just skin the animals and throw them into a pile to slowly bleed to death and rot.
this is just a poster for fur that i put up, i also made a meat (and leather...) one, and a animal abuse one, but i havent put them up yet. and i could only include so many animals on this one... which is why i didnt do leather too =/

the difference is when someone sees a beutiful collie here, they panic about collie fur, but if its a mutt, they don't know and will buy it.

great message. vital point! what's worse is when an animal is destroyed just so that one internal body part can be used in folk remedies . . . . it's all just sick. we're not superior creatures . . . we've just got intellects that allow us to make excuses for excess. *sighs*

I understand the natural law of Eat or be Eaten . . but we as a species long ago determined we were exempt from the natural laws (other than gravity, which smashes us soundly when we try to ignore it) and have gone to some pretty extreme lengths to prove our superiority to our so-called lesser cousins. *sighs sadly*

Gotta say tho these days its more profitable for them to keep the rabbits live and groom the fur off them like they do with sheep. *shrugs* when I had to give my rabbits up I took them to such a farm...and gave two to the kindergarden...I think the ones at the farm would have had a better time of it >_<
