Depends on the pose. Usually when it's a rather static pose without much action and movement going on like in this one I'm not too focused on the gesture.

what i find really fascinating is that you know how to pick your values, even when using a relatively limited color scheme/simple shading
i just love how uncomplicated but incredibly competent your work is, its the exact opposite of overpolished, generic concept art in mud browns and greys and greens. you pick really simple colors and motives, but you make it work so so well. always a joy to see a new upload from you.

aw thanks! I'm often kinda worried that because of the simplicity and the lack of rendering, my work might be perceived as too simple and lazy at times so it's really nice to hear something like that.
