I WISH I'd known that Skywalker was a name for Loki when I wrote this, because I would definitely have made a lot of that! Oh well.

Here's to Loki: dashing god, forever trickster, random prankster, proud mother and currently set on "emo mode". We love ya' Loki. Never change.

I't kinda fun relly. I read like over a 100 fanfiction with Loki on midgar. and in every single one where he takes a "mortal" name to melt in or other thing it's always "luke". and that you chosed "væetkisson" is also prety sad for the fact it would be translated as "no-ones son". poor loki why you feel so unloved?
I'm just gonna sit here and troll for myself for the fact that I can write "vætki" on my computer
And I for some reasion has this pictuer that is the guy had wacked the butterfly the paper would have turned on fire and the buterfly would just fly away like nothing happendXD

Another gem as usual. I thought it was very clever, dunno what you're talking about. X3 "Does this look like a virus to you?"
By the way, I am eternally amused by said "virus..." *Reading runes like a boss*

Interesting name choice there, Loki. Very Odysseus, I thought. Luckily, though, you don't have an angry, blinded cyclops to deal with; just a stressed-out agent with a bad haircut.

Has to happen something really awful for making Loki hysterical.
Hahaha, do what you want and complain as much as you want. Loki does.
Aha, so I was right then (thank goodness). I wonder if anything that Loki breaks just being near does later fixes itself when he goes away. If not, yeah, Agent Deacon can say goodbye to his poor computer...

Aw Hel, I really want to make a terrible hackneyed Star Wars joke, but it just won't come to me.
Don't cry, Deacon! You're the only attentive S.H.I.E.L.D. agent we have, and I don't think your haircut is awful. :c

I am afraid I can be of no assistance- not because I'm against terrible hackneyed jokes, just because I don't know enough about Star Wars. D:
I know, the rest of SHIELD must just be out on a permanent field trip, or something.

They are going to be so wired when any action is required of them.
(If I'd put more thought into this, there would have been much more background on the base and cetera, but I didn't think I'd need it- so it makes it look like there's three people in the whole base and one of them's illegal.)
Maybe some day. Maybe.

He should write up all of these adventures under an assumed name and get them published.
Or put them on the Internet as a comic. (perhaps that's a little too crazy, though)

I enjoy how much thought you've put into it! I love to research finicky things as well. Everything is so much better when based in fact. Personally, I like to think that Laufey IS still his mother, because I enjoy the idea of Jotun being single-sexed. (Mainly, Eidolon has completely rewritten any idea of Jotun culture I had before I read it. If you haven't read it, you should! It is an excellent fic.)
π: 0 β©: 1
VanHinck In reply to VergofTowels [2012-02-29 09:25:43 +0000 UTC]
I had a vague theory that the Jotun are a matriarchal society, but with no obvious differentiation between the sexes- so other realms just make assumptions that the rulers are male, and the Jotun chalk it up as another way in which all the other realms suck and need to do more cultural research. (they'd be perfectly happy to say if someone asked them, but no one ever does, and out of such petty differences, whole wars grow.)
I've seen some gorgeous art for Eidolon, and one day when I have home Internet and spare hours, I must read it!

VergofTowels In reply to VanHinck [2012-02-29 12:53:15 +0000 UTC]
I like that idea, too! And it seems really likely to me that no one would bother assuming that a matriarchal society could exist, what with the strong patriarchy of Asgard. It would be interesting to see how that would affect Loki, too, considering he was raised by Odin and thus would still behave in an Aesir-approved manner toward women (Sif excluded, perchance).
It is long and lovely. I hope you get some spare time!
