The funny part is you found the answer weeks later in another post from us, actually. But the answer is... actually I should draw an humanized Screamer/starry in order to show the hairstyle I've in mind. My only humanized SS pic I have here is a reaaaaaaally old pic, so it isn't good.

He looks too pretty and likeable. He's a narcissistic backstabber and should look the part.

I think that's what make this concept of him ideal. He's pretty, he keeps himself looking handsome and attractive. Women may fall for him, not realising the danger.
You can look at a person and think, wow they look nice, an in actual fact they're really mean. And vice versa, people can look at someone who may be considered "ugly" by society, but in actual fact they are the kindest, golden hearted people you would ever meet.
But also just simply stating Starscream is only a narcissistic backstabber also indicates the shallowness of perception, and a complete lack of understanding of the character. There is a lot more to him, spanning the entire time and various universes.
He's good looking, attractive, and knows how to use it to his advantage. Valong, as I have said - I consider this version of human Starscream to be the best and how I visualise him in the fic, Christopher Eagle

That's the interesting / fascinating thing about people...
One cannot extrapolate from the physical beauty/unattractiveness of a human to his/her inner beauty/unattractiveness - and vice versa. Hmm, that reminds me somehow of the movie "Shallow Hal"...
