Oh man, I was 4 and half when I started only 2 years after this picture was taken.
I must've been hanging out with kids just 5 years younger than you at the time.
It's SO weird to look in my closet and still have a black leather fringe jacket I wore while kids were just picking up pleather at hot topic.
I think I still have my ankh knife somewhere XDD

I was just a baby kid in the 80s but such a prodigy; when I saw this picture I had sudden homesick pangs I didn't know i had.
Ever meet an Asian 4 and half years old who read Poe, listened to "The Passenger or Legs" and could recite Annabel Lee from memory?
The smell of gingerbread cookies and cloves, the feel of almost scratchy lace gloves and a kind of stale, burnt, powdery smell every time I gave a certain college "aunt" a hug, or making her laugh with an goofy air guitar impression..
Thanks, I don't think I would've remembered without this.

Btw, everything about this composition is SO 80s; the lighting, grain, "aura glam glow," the downward angle of the light, and on...
Not the first time I believed I was born 10 years too late or too early.
