Description

A rather small female common European adder tries to eat a dead frog. This is the second time I have seen such a situation that an adder would want to eat a long dead animal. They usually eat what they hunted. It was on the edge of a dirt road so after taking the photo I scared the viper off the road and I put his frog where he ran off. I didn't want the adder to get hurt, most people dislike snakes very much and often kill them even if they are in the forest.
