ARCTOLIN
(Camanis gigantus)

The Arctolin measures 12-14 feet from nose to tailtip,and is adapted to sub-zero temperatures with a thick, insulating coat. Heavy keratin scales protect its spinal area from the sharp horns of its main food sources, musk oxen and caribou. The arctolin also uses its strong clawed forepaws to dig through snow and ice to reach foxes, hares, and even seals.
