Description So I suddenly found late 19th century to be very interesting for silly reasons I won't mention here!

And Domino somehow suits in that time, and not only because she'd look great in dresses that makes your bum look enormous. I imagine she'd be fantastic little... lethal-con woman-spy-somethingorother from Imperial Russia. I'm so cliche. And lovin' it.

Photoshop all the way. I think I had at least ten other pictures at the side when I did this, mostly for reference to the folds in her dress and what clothes actually looked like back then. The background is simple and sloppy because I wanted her detailedness to stick out more. I don't know how long it took, but I've been working on it evenings for three days.

Domino is mine.

Now, back to sketching her man.

Everything about this is .

The slight desaturated color, the fabric, the feathers, the rough background, the skin, the bright red lips.

This is so beautiful. The outfit, the fabric folds, the feathers, her expression... hitting fave with extreme prejudice.

I love how her face is lighted, it makes her look very young and still well aged at the same time. I really like the folds on the clothes and her lips give her a kind of realistic feel to the picture!
Nice work! She seems like a lot of fun

A glance at her face and hands tell me that she is most certainly an agent provocateur, of the Okhrana. Perhaps in her youth she was a member of the revolutionary movement, but with her sense of adventure (and a little help from her affluent, conservative parents) she felt a stirring attraction towards the borders of the Empire. Returning several years later, fluent in turkish and bulgarian and with the dull enroachment of boredom setting in she agreed to become an informant for the Okhrana.

When her cover was blown on activist movements in Europe she started her official career in the service, often looked downupon for being an intelligent, ambitious lady. Eventually she became a master interrogator of radical activists. Winning them over by arguing that the Imperial Russia could do more for the poor than the revolutionaries who where abroad and whose ideas only brought pain and suffering to the people.

Gorgeous work, and the con-woman-spy-thing sounds very interesting. I'd love to know the silly reasons too..

I just love all of the details, especially the texture in the scar, her hair, and just the clothes. The clothes are gorgeous and so spot on. Her hands are very dynamic too. Wonderful job

The little details on the bodice, and the sleeves, and the collar, and her ring, and her earring, and the buttons...It's all so wonderful! She's such a beautiful woman.
