Very intense shot here. I'm really diggin' it.
I like the posture and the sense of movement. I like the texture given by the screen and the siloheute (sp?) really fits with the image. You achieved good tonal range, and good composition. very nice.
I hope, for posterity's sake, you hand printed this yourself?

To everyone who has asked: Noit is not manipulated in any way. Shot on tmax 3200 f8 on the bulb setting, one off camera flash set at it's highest power. The room was pretty much pitch black so you could open the shutter and not worry about anything showing up on the film until you wanted it to.
*I'm haveing the neg rescanned so I can post a larger version.

That is an awesome photo, and it definitely looks like something that was tweaked in Photoshop. But the more I look at it the more real it becomes. It reminds me of the band Soilwork... their logo is a guy with a sledgehammer in that same position. It would be awesome if you could make a bigger version of that photo so that people could use it as their desktop art, I sure as hell would.

that doesnt even look like a real photo. Very neat picture -- reminds me of those movies of the guys hammering stuff in hte new york skyline. Perfect timing -- nice addition of the flash.
