Description
"Head In The Clouds" was the first time I had made a complete illustration with the Ph. Martin ink, but this was the first attempt and, like the other one, it didn't end well. Like the other painting, I had to draw this about four times to get it right, but this time it was because I jacked up the masking (word to the wise: masking tape is not good for really wet mediums, especially when you get really close up). See that color on her legs that looks like tights? That was supposed to be skin! Yup, that orangey, yellow, color was supposed to be skin. I should just feel lucky that I started on her legs and not her face. I had some Promarkers laying around so I finished up her arms and face with those, and painted the background with fluid acrylic. I think the best part of this drawing is probably her dress.
