Feature: EnvironmentsHello! So, I got distracted from my weekly feature and did not add one for two weeks. This time, I've decided to feature Environment Concepts. DA has not only plenty of skills artists, but some of them possess a wonderfully rich imagination. I love when I see a piece that's showing me a glimpse of another world, another universe and it makes me wonder what the laws are, what the people are like, what the lifestyle is like. I have collected some amazing windows into different worlds here in DA that I wish to share with you all. If you like any of them, please and leave a comment for the artist! Let's all show our support!
To the artists: Wonderful job and thank you for sharing your vision with us!

Urus-28 In reply to Dr-Aim [2013-12-29 17:29:31 +0000 UTC]

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Dr-Aim In reply to Urus-28 [2013-12-29 19:13:31 +0000 UTC]

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Urus-28 In reply to Dr-Aim [2013-12-30 13:03:36 +0000 UTC]

Dr-Aim In reply to Urus-28 [2013-12-30 15:41:02 +0000 UTC]

aaaah.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Dr-Aim In reply to Urus-28 [2014-01-02 10:12:46 +0000 UTC]

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Urus-28 In reply to Dr-Aim [2014-01-02 11:42:45 +0000 UTC]

Dr-Aim In reply to Urus-28 [2014-01-02 14:02:47 +0000 UTC]

c'est un peu de la prise en main, en fait ?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Urus-28 In reply to Dr-Aim [2014-01-02 14:30:27 +0000 UTC]

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Dr-Aim In reply to Urus-28 [2014-01-02 16:53:41 +0000 UTC]

Dr-Aim In reply to Urus-28 [2014-01-03 11:16:03 +0000 UTC]

Urus-28 In reply to Dr-Aim [2014-01-03 12:12:07 +0000 UTC]

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Dr-Aim In reply to Urus-28 [2014-01-04 15:08:20 +0000 UTC]

Urus-28 In reply to Dr-Aim [2014-01-05 00:12:05 +0000 UTC]

Urus-28 In reply to Swissphotographer [2013-09-25 20:00:07 +0000 UTC]

Urus-28 In reply to Swissphotographer [2013-09-28 12:29:34 +0000 UTC]

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Swissphotographer In reply to Urus-28 [2013-09-30 13:23:24 +0000 UTC]

DID YOU DRAW THIS?!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Urus-28 In reply to garfieldbookworm [2013-09-16 17:19:35 +0000 UTC]

It's a photomanipulation for a contest, most of the elements are photographies, three from stocks coming from the contest and the rest is coming from my personal stock. The digital painting part of the picture is the octopuses

AngeliqueChan [2013-06-01 19:44:50 +0000 UTC]

This is a very, very good work! I would not mind living in those houses. It would be a pretty adventurous life. I like the concept that instead of street lights you have floating bulb going all the way down the street. The cloud around the panda (especially on the far right) is not working for me. It looks like it has been copied and pasted and rubbed out a little. I suppose this is because the ground is sandy so it is supposed to be dust. I think the cloud left of the panda could have been more of a darker and greenish blue to blend with the ground a bit and more blurred to show that the sand is being disturbed. Again only a small preference. I appreciate this would have taken a long time to do. That being said the ink from the octopus is awesome. It works really well and it is effective as you can also see it through the bulb.

On a more positive note the lighting is just brilliant. It is reflected in all the right places and it is a clever and witty concept. The overall under the sea feel is great to with the details of the oxygen tank and the bubbles so as to show the panda doesn't belong in the sea. I love the drama in this. And I like how the panda is hunting but also being hunted. Really creative thinking.

Urus-28 In reply to AngeliqueChan [2013-06-02 10:33:23 +0000 UTC]

Thank you for your feedback about the clouds, there is probably something wrong with them. I was quite in a rush to finish this picture for the contest and there are many parts that could have been made in better way.
But I'm still proud of the result

I would be partying if I could do something like that haha.

Really odd and interesting concept, Looks like it could be made in to a replacement for a less annoying Spongebob type show.

Seems really unique, great job!

Urus-28 In reply to FalseShepherd [2013-05-21 17:21:22 +0000 UTC]

I'm not familiar with Spongebob, I think I never seen the show. I've seen the character of course but that's all. But the few I've seen is enough to keep me away from this
Fore sure a story of panda diver and octopus mastermind is far more interesting
