I was trolling around Southeastern Washington state looking for images worthy of painting when I came upon this golden wheatfield with a fantastic sky hanging above. I'd been reading about van Gogh and his love for the color yellow so this was a really attractive scene with it's gully that fit so well onto my prepared hardboard.
