So recently a while back, I watched a documentary on the History Channel called “Last Day on Earth.” It was really interesting and mentioned 8 of the major causes that could lead mankind to its end. A little switch from my random blog last time, since this one is serious. Below, I wrote up some of the major causes and some little facts. I also made a support banner you can place anywhere that could help people become aware.

The problem with our world is that we don’t have unity. Everything is divided up by nation, race, and opinions. If you want to survive and continue, you have to unify together to help! It’s so stupid how everyone thinks if one person does it they’ll follow. One country alone can’t stop this issue. We have to unite as one. I believe and know that eventually, yes, we will all vanish and mankind will perish. But atleast we put some effort to change and make for a future. This is our generation. Whatever may have happened before such as these World Wars, we can prevent. Together we can do it all.

Threats to Mankind

There is a possibility that Bacteria will be the only things to survive and the world will be ruled by Bacteria. But, the human race will fail to exist.

8. Gamma Ray Bursts
- It would be so hot, we’d burn up.
- Only buildings would be left standing
7. Black Hole
- suck everything in
- break our body apart into pieces
6. Intelligent Machines
- If humans develop such intelligent machines, they may turn against us if they pass human intelligence.
5. Super Volcanoes
- Ash will prevent sun from shining into atmosphere.
- Ash will block our lungs and prevent food digestion and we will eventually die.
4. Asteroids
- Friday April 13, 2029: An asteriod will just miss us.
- April 13, 2036 – Asteriod will come again and will hit us or by slightest chance it could be prevented if satellites can change gravitational direction of asteroid by slightest bit. But that idea hasn’t even been put to test, much less put in blueprint.
3. Nuclear War
- Russia and United States are biggest nuclear threat, even more than Middle Eastern countries.
- U.S. has about 80,000 Hiroshima bombs that could kill 8 billion people when there are only 6 billion people on Earth
2. Plagues
- Examples: Avian Flu, HSN1 (Pandemic Flu), Manmade Flu, Very Enhanced Version of Small Pox
- These plagues will spread very fast and kill most of the world in a matter of months.
- Nations will most likely prevent travel to stop spread the plagues but it won’t help.
- New technology will be cause of these plagues.

- Humans are behind it
- If unchecked, Global warming has the possibility to escalate.
- Carbon Dioxide: If there is less then Earth will freeze. If there is more then Earth will burn up.
- If Greenland melts completely, sea level will rise 20ft and engulf the world with tsunamis.
- Global Warming will cause War, Famine, and Drought
