Captain's Log, Stardate 47228.3.On arriiving on orbit of GC-4473, we were stunned to find a Romulan D'deridex Warbird also in orbit. Evasive maneouvres commenced immediately and yet the Warbird, despite obviously being fully powered, paid us no attention whatsoever.
Further science and tactical scans report that there are 673 life forms aboard, all apparently comatose and the vessel is unharmed, at least physically.
I am now awaiting orders from Starfleet on how to proceed. I only hope those orders are not delayed long enough for the Romulans to send reinforcements.

Now that's a catch 22! Do they leave the ship as it is and quietly back off, at the risk of having the Romulans say they offered no help? Do the attempt to board the vessel and help the people aboard at the risk of being branded as using the opportunity to spy on Romulan technology? Either way the Romulans will turn whatever good intentions or indifference into something that paints the Federation in a bad light!

You take the ship (For military study), jetison the crew and run like hell cuz something is down on that planet that took some 2000 crew members and knocked everyone else cold. Yep definitely time to run but if I know my starfleet...they'll investigate.
