Pete - This song fits to him because he survived painful process of transformation from evil bandit into lawful citizen he was in "Goof troop" of 1992, even though he didn't want to. I think that at first he regretted to stop been thief until day when he understood that he acted right becoming citizen.
Riley's fear - He is constantly nervous and somewhere on DA I found pictures where he turned into animal with sharp teeth, black wings and paws with long claws.
