Description
On a sunny weekend, went for a bike ride through the farmland backroads and ended up going 16 km, reaching the next town over which had a nice little park. I sat on a rock near the pond and tried some plein air watercoloring.

Lessons learned: 1) Still have to work on getting more contrast in my watercolors, trying to get pigment to stay on the page instead of watering it down too much. 2) My style/skill level of watercolor may benefit from some added fineliner detailing. 3) Tree branches shouldn't be painted all the way through, because watercolors are opaque... leaves will just get lost when trying to paint over the branch. 4) Should get some training on layering watercolors in a landscape scene.
