With the memories of the world's end, her betrayals, and her solomn resolve to put everything she had into moving forward with her attonement for her multiple wrongs all eaten by Dunor, Katherine, bare and unglamoured, raised her voice to be a part of the last song of the little gods. Her part was a lullaby, sweet and clear, that her father had taught her when she was very small and an elderly friend of her father had died. She'd sung it at her father's funeral. She'd sung it, quietly, at the passing of every human she'd ever loved. And now, as she heads out to the world without any idea of how much things have changed, and what exactly she's ruined- she sings it for the kindness of a tapestry and plate, who protected and kept her safe, even with her sins. Despite the light she knew was surrounding her as they returned the sky to Alva, she felt no joy, no sparkle.
