Description
Before Gordon arrived, the Wildnorwester was pulled by Henry or two locomotives. They pulled pre-grouping about a dozen LNWR coaches (two of whom would be given to Thomas after being moved from express duties) all over the island. As Gordon and James arrived to the railway the Wildnorwester became a single engine affair with LMS P1 and later P2 coaches. The older engines recall with much fondness the time they used to haul the WNW.
