Description This my last 2011 picture : another maybe color can save it type of art. The sketch was from november.


These guys are from some sort of Loi side-story that I thought of while considering the human-centaur neighbouring rivalry. Their story will never be written though because it is really twisted and depressing. I don't even know their names >_>

The general idea is that a human goes to live in a centaur herd (enemies to his home town) in the worst possible context and timing. He will be under the responsibility of this white centaur (already in charge of a foal), and do everything he says while trying to be useful to the herd.
It is a very unstable situation, and can only end badly.

Notice the short tail, for those who remember what it means

The centaur is only letting/making the human ride him here because
- there is no other centaur around to see him
- the human doesn't know the way in the dark and would take too long
- he knows this human hates riding

I sooooooooo wanna know this story too!!!! (already read the comments so I don't have to ask what the shorter tail means )

I think that it could be an amazing story in and of itself! The dark themes and the way this drawing shows them kinda alludes to a potential for some sort of romancing with the centaur and the human. GAH!!! I want to know more now!!! It could be a wondrous romantic tragedy and.... and.... (had a fanboy moment )

I think I ruined the potential of this story... T_T Things became really really dark and disgusting on their own and instead of what could have been a simply tense and angsty atmosphere, I get a poisonous, really unhealthy one.

Oh, of course not. I think you should be putting all of your free writing time into the amazing world of Loi ^_^ I just think of this as a fun little side-project if you need a break or a distraction. Let me know if you ever decide to do anything with it ^_^

Actually, this may be unrelated, but the other pseudo-side-story I'm interested in is the one concerning Lahbelle. I really want to know what happens there, especially after she gives birth. ^_^

I don't like to talk about this specific side story because it is so dark, but I can tell you about the main story
Loi is a story with a lot of fantasy species. Here is its gallery folder [link]
You will find more centaur art mixed among the merpeople and elves and others... And there is also the info journal linked in that folder, with a big paragraph about my centaur species, traditions, etc ^^

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, I want to hear this story thoughh!!! (I also really like sad stories, but, but still!!)
It sounds so absolutely fascinating, wow! And the lighting for this is fantastic, I love the mood that lighting gives it, it really adds to the sense of this story being a depressing one... (and, it shows up fine on my laptop screen, hmm...)
But ahhhhh..... short tail, short tail... special something? homosexual centaur? oAo;;

This story has so many disturbing themes... there is fear, torture, humiliation, hate, revenge, insecurity >_> Why, brain? Whyy? T_T

Yeees, homosexual centaur! Married homosexual centaur couples have the shortened tail, to be more precise. (not always, though... in some other herds, it marks geldings)

It is a night scene with moonlight so it is supposed to be quite dark... And the sketch was very rough and unfinished, so there are no details to see, really :/ As long as you can see the human and the centaur, with trees around, all is good. If you can't see them, maybe something is off with the angle or settings of your screen..?
