I've made a drawing with liquid ink on a low quality paper (that caused that irregular stancil style) > scanned > selected > turned to red. The background is a separate layer added with photoshop.

I did a work for that journal entry in illustator for this, its simple and not that good but I will submit it later because the file is at my computer at school. nice work tho.
