WARNINGS: Bizarre off-plot scenes, a tiny bit shonen-ai between Naruto and Sasuke and most of all…! COMPLETELY RANDOM STUFF LIKE VAMPIRES AND WEREWOLVES! XD

Note: I will speed through the plot. This is a quick one-shot fanfic that I just felt like doing while my jaw’s still half- anaesthetized from the dental appointment. TT.TT Oh the numbness! And school starts again tomorrow. WAAAH!

Brief history: Uchiha Sasuke (now a Jounin) had been going out with Naruto (also Jounin) until the blonde ninja decided that the Uchiha deserved to have a family and to continue his clan. The Uchiha became depressed and so started drinking til very late at night. One such night, a bunch of gang rapists heavily drugged the Jounin and raped him.

The Uchiha and Kyuubi vessel were both once ANBU captains until they decided that they wanted to prove which of the two was the better teacher. Sasuke got the 1st and 2nd placed academy graduates as well as the last placer, while Naruto got the 3rd, 4th and 5th placers.

Part 1
Ki…?

Sakura had spotted the beat-up Uchiha lying at the side of the street, unconscious and smelly. She immediately noticed that his pulse was weak and irregular, her maternal instincts activating, and she took him bridal-styled up to the hospital.

While he was in his ward, Tsunade did a long examination on the unconscious teenager. When she exited the ward to inform the ‘Old Rookie Nine’ about his condition, her face was as grave as… well, a grave!

“So what’s up with Sasuke, Tsunade-baa-chan?”
“IT’S HOKAGE-SAMA OR TSUNADE-SAMA YA LITTLE TWIT! Anyway… do you want to hear the good news or the bad news first?”
“Good, dattebayo.”
“Well, he’s gonna live, despite the drug overdose, most likely forced from what I can tell of the neck wounds.”
“And the bad news?”
“Well, Sakura, that’s the problem. I don’t know what’s going to happen to him when he wakes up. Damage has been done but I can’t figure out what’s going to happen from the locations of the multiple damage areas.”
“So… you’re saying that he might wake up with a five-year-old’s mind, dattebayo?”
“It’s possible.”
“My God…!”
“All we can do is hope that he wakes up and manages to be okay.”

~Three days later~

“Hey… I think he’s stirring!”
“You sure, Sakura-chan, dattebayo?”
“Yeah…”

“Mm…” murmured the Uchiha.
“Sasuke?” inquired Sakura. Without warning, the Uchiha jaunted upright and yelled happily
“KI!”
“WHAT THE FUCK (DATTEBAYO)?!” yelled the astonished pair.

“Who are you? Where am I? Who am I? Why am I here? How did I get here? Do I have any relatives? What country am I in?”
“You… don’t know?”
“I’m asking you, ki!”
“Ki…?” inquired the pair and ‘anime sweat-dropped’.
“Ki! So?”
“Okay… I’m Naruto and she’s Sakura.”
“Hi.”
“You’re in the hospital. You’re Uchiha Sasuke. You’re here because… well, you got hurt. Sakura carried you here about three days ago. All your known relatives are dead or not in the village. You’re in Konohagakure.”
“Okay… ki!”
“Naruto, I’m going to get Tsunade!”
“Hai!”

~30 minutes later~

“So… do you remember anything, Sasuke?”
“Um… well… you’re a Hyuuga… and I had a grudge against you…” the Uchiha pointed at Hinata. He then pointed at Kiba and Shino.
“You two had some animal connections and one of you always creeped people out.”
“That’s so mean!”
“I had a brother… I think… My parents got murdered… something about a Kyuubi… Kakashi has sharingan… Oh yeah, I have sharingan too… something about chidori…”
“Any more?”
“She’s Ino… and something to do with a pig… You’re Shikamaru and you’re Choji… You… Not a clue.”
“It’s Sai. We never really socialised, so I figured you wouldn’t remember me.”

~A long time later~

“And that’s all.”
“Well,” Tsunade sighed, “looks like he remembers a bit about himself, a bit about the things he can do and has but practically nothing about actual social things. Sakura, Naruto, I’m assigning you to a ‘recover Sasuke’s memory’ mission!”
“W-WHAT?!”
“Kiddo, listen up. He didn’t remember anything at all when he woke up, but after a while, he remembered quite a bit. If you two take him around, maybe some random objects might trigger his memory and help him recover it!”
“Oh…”

~Three days later~

Team 7 (without Kakashi who was on a very important mission) was on a mission to recover Sasuke’s memory. Well, Ki’s. While his mental state was deemed unstable, the Uchiha was known as Ki. Point is, the trio were quite far from Konoha and were unaware of the fact that a certain troublesome trio was watching them.

“There’s the vessel.”
“Yeah… shall we get him?”
“Don’t forget, my dear clansman is there. Don’t hurt him. He’s weak right now and easy to manipulate.”
“You and your schemes, Madara.”
“You aren’t so innocent yourself, Pein.”
“You can’t put all the blame on me! Konan had HER part in it too!”

“Hey… do you feel like we’re being watched?”
“Nope! Not at all, dattebayo!”
“Well you should, kid.”
“What the-! Akatsuki… I should’ve known, dattebayo…!”
“No need to growl. We’ll just take you, extract the demon from you and kill you.”
“LIKE HELL I’D LET THAT HAPPEN! I’M GONNA BE HOKAGE ONE DAY, DATTEBAYO!” roared the blonde, who charged without a second thought. Even though he was a Jounin, when provoked, the idiot just didn’t know when to stop.

“Naruto-kun!” yelped the confused Uchiha, who was pushed out of harm’s way by the pink-haired teen [LOL, one would never think that there’d be a day where SAKURA was saving SASUKE! XD]. The raven-haired boy was thrown into a bush and was told to hide. He obeyed the order and closed his eyes, hoping that his ‘friends’ would win.

However, not long after he thought they had won, he was forcefully pulled out of the bush.

“Kid…!” growled the man pulling the teenager’s hair.
“Pein, do be nice to him. We’re trying to make a good impression here.”
“Alright, alright!”

The Uchiha’s eyes widen.
“Naruto-kun… Sakura-chan…!” he whispered, looking at his friends, both defeated and no longer in a state to fight.
“Now kid, we’ll be taking that blonde boy, but as for the pink-haired girl… well, let’s just say… what you do may save or end her life.”
“Huh?”
“If you can fight and win against… Konan, we’re let her live. If you lose, she’ll kill that dear girl of yours.”
Sasuke had no idea what to do. He hadn’t been able to fight properly for so long. Plus he didn’t remember how to fight.

“Sasuke… run for it… tell the others… forget about me… I’ll be-”
“Shut it, bitch!”
“S-Sakura…!”
“Now, kid. Your answer…?”
“Go ahead and kill her.”
Pein’s eyes widened. The Uchiha’s innocent voice suddenly became undeniably dark and… evil. His face was a mask but his voice betrayed a hint of malice and mockery.
“WHAT?!”
“You heard me. Like I care. Ki might be a bit sad.”
“Ki?”
“The idiot you were talking to before. Now I’m in charge…!” he bared his fangs and his cold face changed to a mask of feral aggression, “AND I’M GONNA EAT MY FILL!” he bellowed.
“WHAT-?!”

Pein never stood a chance.

The ‘other Sasuke’ was the demonic side of the Uchiha. While the Uchiha had been in the coma (after the rape incident), he made a pact with a strange voice that appeared during a full moon. It offered him an undefeatable strength in exchange for him splitting his soul into two. The Uchiha agreed. This resulted in Ki and this ‘feral being’ that was now ripping Pein’s throat open.

“WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS GUY, MADARA?!”
“I DON’T KNOW! THIS ISN’T AN UCHIHA THING! LET’S RETREAT FOR-! HOLY FUCK! KONAN! WATCH OUT! HE’S-”

She never stood a chance either.

While the woman’s throat was being torn apart, the yellow-bellied Uchiha made a run for it, highly un-Uchiha-ish, denting his pride more than a bit.

“Ki… what the hell are you?”
“I’m not Ki. Ki’s asleep. Call me Kiyuu for now. ”
“What did you do to them…? Their throats…!”
“I’m a monster… but-! AH FUCK…!” the Uchiha spat blood and began coughing.
“Kiyuu-san?!”

The monster had passed out. The feral expression faded. The claw-like-ness of his nails vanished away. The rage that blanketed the beast had dissipated into nothingness.

When Naruto and Sakura were both better, Ki/Kiyuu woke up.

“Kiyuu-san?”
“Ki?”
“Phew… thank god it’s you…”

~Two days later~

Sakura had reported to Tsunade about the feral side of the Uchiha and was told that if that side of the Uchiha came out again, run as far from him as possible. According to the woman’s judgements, Kiyuu was violent, wild and uncontrollable, meaning that if Sakura did so much as say something wrong, he would attack her without hesitation. That freaked more than a few people out.

Every time, between every mission, the Uchiha (who was staying with Naruto for the time being), would snuggle up to Naruto… EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. It was driving the blonde mad. He wanted the Uchiha. It was a mutual feeling but the blonde felt obliged to let the Uchiha revive his clan. The Uchiha had no such plans, constantly hounding the blonde, pursuing him to the point that one might even call ‘desperate’, but ‘desperate’ is a word that describes the Uchiha at all times, from being ‘desperate’ to be better than Naruto to being ‘desperate’ to kill his brother. Desperate is a word the Uchiha’s personality and life revolved around. When one considers all this, perhaps he wasn’t quite as ‘desperate’ in his pursuit in the ‘Sasuke’s emo standard of desperation’. [XD OMG! WHEN DID I THINK THAT UP?!]

Part 2
Lupia, Lucas, Lupus

Several incidents (similar to the one that awoke Kiyuu in the first place) occurred and every time, Kiyuu defeated them with apparent ease. However, on a mission with Naruto, Sakura, Sai, Hinata, Kiba, Shino and Kakashi, an enemy appeared that Kiyuu could not defeat with such ease.

It had been several hours already and neither Kiyuu nor his opponent were showing any signs of exhaustion. Any bystander could have realised that neither could be human, or at least, ‘normal humans’.

When the attacks being exchanged finally seemed futile to the general audience, something totally unexpected occurred. It was known as the Lupia Event.

A girl with brown hair and emerald eyes flew (yes, flew) out of a bush, tackled the opposition down with ease, knocked some sense into him and roared,
“LUCAS! YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER!” sending the poor man flying off to heaven knows where [New Record: 563 metres].

“Yo.”
“Um… who are you?”
“Lupia-” the girl was abruptly cut off by Kiyuu’s aggressive attack.
“You…! You’re the worst enemy of…!”
“Your kind, vampire.”
“Vampire, dattebayo?!”
“Didn’t you realise? Kiyuu comes from Kyuuketsuki. ‘Ki’ and ‘yu’ shorten to ‘kyu’ in the word ‘kyuuketsuki’, meaning vampire.”
“V-v-vampire, dattebayo?!”
“Like you can talk, werewolf.”
“I prefer lupus, lycanthrope, or my name, you lowly vampire.”
“Lowly? My kind is not the lowly kind, you filthy mongrel!”
“MONGREL?! THAT. IS. IT! I’ve had enough of your insolence, you impertinent twit! I was hoping that I could be civil with you so that we wouldn’t start and open fight in the midst of humans but it seems that you are DESPERATE for a fight to the death!”

The pair began fighting, not uttering a syllable after their ferocious banter. At last, when it seemed that the Uchiha was doomed to lose (he WAS, after all, still tired out by the previous battle), they appeared. The Lupus clan and the Sanguis clan* had arrived. Both kinds’ Elders ordered the pair to stop.

~Three days later~

Uchiha Sasuke had been taken into the Sanguis clan, forced into being a member of the vampiric clan by the Ancient Law. Many of Sasuke’s fangirls and his friends wept over the loss of the Uchiha, a broken soul that would never again return to Konoha… a clan that would never revive. Ever.

~50 years later~

A dark-haired child with slitted, red eyes was laughing, being chased by a blonde child with similar features. The pair ran over the bridge, jumped over a creek and weaved through some trees before spotting their home at the side of the hill. They saw their mother, a blonde, aquamarine-eyed woman, and their father holding her. He had a distinctive jawline and well-built features. He had the type of bad-boy face that made most females melt within seconds of sight. The young boys laughed and ran towards their parents, a certain Uchiha Sasuke… and Uzumaki Kushina.

Extra note: Uzumaki Kushina was the name of Naruto’s mum (it’s in the manga, though the spellings have differed slightly from translator to translator) and he took it on after he became a vampire (courtesy of Sasuke) and had an Ancient Ritual performed on him to make him a woman.
