Description
This is Pele, the Hawaiin goddess of fire.In legend, Pele is often said to have appeared as a white dog. Since there are no breeds (that I know of) that originate from Hawaii, I chose a random fox-like dog.
One piece that will be available at AC, and the original will probably go in the artshow. YAY one down!
You'll have to excuse the cruddy quality. My scanner ate much of it, and it really is more textured in RL.

she doesn't appear as a white dog. but with a white dog as a companion some times. and we do have a breed, it was called the poi dog. it is extinct now, but it was the only vegetarian dog in history, fed on an all poi diet, hence its name.
but Pele wasn't borne in Hawai'i, so the companion wouldn't have to be a poi dog.
either way this is well drawn.
